Jennifer Dorris graduated with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Pacific University in 2001. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina. She is nationally certified as well as a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.

Jennifer’s main goal is to make personal connections with each child and his or her family through direct therapy and education.

She has over 25 years of pediatric experience and specializes in sensory integration and environmental modification. Pediatric Occupational therapy often includes treating children with birth defects/ injuries, sensory processing disorders, autism, traumatic brain injuries, childhood arthritis, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, Tourette’s, Down’s syndrome, burn injuries, developmental delays, and many other conditions. Our goal is to help children and families live life to the fullest using play and meaningful activities during everyday routines. We use a family/child-centered approach and make it a priority to help families incorporate concepts learned in therapy into their daily lives at home and in the community.
